Jordan joins us full time

Jordan joins us full time

After nearly two years of covering weekend shifts we're so excited that Jordan is now joining us full time for the rest of 2019 as a Sales Negotiator to cover Helen's maternity leave.  See what he's looking forward to most about spending more time at Wm Sykes...

What are most looking forward to in your new role?

Having some clients all to myself! I am also looking forward to taking a house and seeing sales through to the end.

How will working full time differ from part time?

I think the key difference will be my answer to the first question, I will be able to finish what I start as it were, and hopefully take the glory for some intense negotiations!!

What can your clients expect from you?

I would like to think that my clients can expect a friendly, approachable agent who is committed to selling their property. I am also keen on building professional relationships with my clients, enabling them to feel comfortable enough to raise questions and queries as and when they arise.

How will your university studies help with your new role?

I hope my study of the law has given me an insight into the legalities of the conveyancing process, which I hope will assist in ensuring the smooth running of transactions. I also hope that my experience within law firms, alongside my time at Wm Sykes, will help me to manage my client portfolio effectively. Also, being a student makes me well equipped for our traditional Friday beers!

What advice would you give to the new part time member of staff?

People like to be kept updated. Try and think about what service you would want if you were viewing a house and apply that to the service you provide.

Will we need ear plugs?!

Judging by the accusation that I can be heard before I arrive in the office, quite possibly!

When are you putting the kettle on?

Not any time soon, ‘red’ juice all the way! (If the question was when are you doing the buffet shop, then the response would be anytime!)
